Top 20 Wrestlers of 2020 Updated Table as of eps 62

Episode 62 was women heavy, so why not start with the women movers and shakers? After multiple match of the year contenders, it should come as no surprise that Arisa and Yoshiko are rising steadily knocking on the door of those above. Also, Jungle Kyona has finally busted into the top 20 after a very emotional Red belt match vs The Stardom Icon Mayu (whom also moves up a bit). It seems now, the retired and injured wrestlers are finally falling off and out unfortunately. The difference in the top women this year to even the mid-table is quite a shockingly wide margin. It will certainly take a huge second half for those to catch up to someone like Maya whom is number 4 overall including the men.
Perhaps with the announcement of AEW's Deadly Draw on YouTube we could see some surprising results, though it is more likely the Stardom wrestlers will slowly start to make up some ground they missed in the first half of the year with the 5 star GP coming. The Momos and Utamis of the world are ones to keep an eye out for. Also, TJPW is putting on the Princess Cup so maybe a Miya or Natsumi Maki could run up? The next few episodes should be interesting with all these women tournaments.
As for the men, Endo from DDT in a large spurt and the focus of DDT's tv show along with his KO-D title matches has found himself in the best current form of any wrestler much like Tanaka found in the first few months of 2020 carrying the KO-D title. Endo has shot up to number 2 eclipsing Omega after AEW tag title matches while okay, just haven't been mind blowing lately. Meanwhile, Young Bucks and FTR are finding themselves gaining a lot of success as of late including a fantastic Falls Count Anywhere affair. Keep your eyes out on them.
NJPW hasn't had the best in ring success with Evil winning the IWGP title, but there is at least a hint of hope with Shingo at the very least putting on good matches slowly moving up. With more big events from NJPW, perhaps Hiromu could keep the momentum, but the main event scene certainly looks in doubt for the time being. On the Dragon Gate side, they continue building up fresh new talent so our usual ring veterans besides Yamato are noticeably absent. Maybe a great Dream Gate match is coming with Doi vs Eita soon enough. Yes, it is easier to make up ground on the men's side, but 2020 has been a weird year and we can see who is standing out at the given times now more than ever.
