Top 20 Wrestlers of 2020 Updated Table as of eps 65

    With AEW's big PPV All Out having a number of issues and lessons to be learned, the major matches themselves were worth it. With MJF proving to live up to his main event potential, Jericho and Cassidy completing their trilogy, Shida having yet another solid showing to no shock among fans, and of course Moxley being the number 1 champion in the world showing exactly why he is far and ahead of the rest in 2020, it should come as to no shock why the major players in AEW control a good chunk of the standings.

    The combo group of the Best Friends have low key been the most consistent act and entertaining wrestlers of the year. Specifically the rise of Orange Cassidy has elevated this trio to must watch (assuming the comedy works for you). There is a small ties for the 20 spot in men's. Seeing the Young Bucks break into the top 20 is interesting as well as MJF as he certainly earned it. Luckily, for the rest of the table DDT (Korakuen), Dragon Gate (Dangerous Gate/Kobe World), and NJPW (G1) are all gearing up for their big runs to finish out the year.

    As for the women, the emergence and improvement of TJPW in 2020 continues to be a nice surprise. Seeing Yuka, Maki Itoh, and Shoko burst into the bubble as injuries and absences are finally seeing those fall. Stardom has the 5 star coming to a close soon and the big standouts have been AZM and Konami while the stalwarts are Utami, Mayu the Icon, and a big shock being Himeka. Himeka has done extremely well for her experience and is wrestling up above the expectations. She is very much one to look out for with Utami and Giulia as a power 3 in Stardom to finish out the year. 

    For the rest of women's wrestling, Thunder Rosa has been on a tear proving herself to the masses. Don't take your eyes off the NWA champion. Suzu and Tsukushi are gearing up for a big title match against each other and is a good possibility to have a top 5 Ice Ribbon match of the year. Now we wait for the next set of SeaD shows with patience.
