Top 20 Wrestlers of 2020 Updated Table as of eps 67

As expected the G1 going on in NJPW has dominated the rankings and caused some power shifts. With MVPs like Shingo and Ishii (finally making into the top 20), these two have been the standouts with both guys arguably giving all the block A guys their best match. Despite their win totals not equating to their match quality, the matches have been such a high caliber it can't be ignored. Meanwhile, the 52 year old Minoru Suzuki is still putting in his hat for wrestler of the year (at least in NJPW) mugging his way through G1 like a champ. The return of Will Ospreay gathering up points is no shock as his lucha style in NJPW is different and entertaining.
The big shock was the quality of the dog collar match from AEW featuring TNT champion Brodie Lee losing to Cody is a blood bath affair on national television. Between this match, the Cody squash, and the Moxley title match, Brodie Lee has not only saved the Dark Order stable, but also proved he is a major player for AEW. It's very nice to see. Let's see if the same can be done with Archer getting his title shot on the AEW anniversary show and angry gamer Miro in the future.
With the AEW anni show covering on the next episode and the conclusion of the G1, it will be very interesting to see what happens with guys like Okada, Naito, and Cody.
Now to discuss the women. Yokohama has been a great place in the joshi wrestling world. Ice Ribbon is pushing fresh new talent in challenge to their young champion (Suzu) as Mochi has pinned her twice in a week. It will be interesting to see if any bigger roles are set for Tsukasa and Maya going forward as their production has taken a step aside.
Meanwhile, Stardom had a massive success to a show featuring Mayu defending the title vs Syuri in a banger of a match while the rest of the card also delivered well. Giulia and Tam finished off a fantastic feud with a brawl playing to both strengths in a feud of the year contender set. Stardom is also pushing a lot of fresh and new talent while their strengths in 2020 (as few as there has been) in Mayu and the success of Giulia, signing Syuri, and Utami's 5 star victory, the final year stretch here is their race to win.
As for the rest, Shida continues to be left off of AEW tv stunting her production, and AEW putting rough women's matches on tv week after week. With a small and developing roster, that second tv show can't come soon enough to help them. TJPW is gearing up for their Dome City Hall show plus a tournament for their vacated International title (Rosa had to vacate). SeaD's next big matches are the Best Friends tag title challenge and Aja Kong (yes that one) challenging Yoshiko. We shall certainly see what delivers. Oh.... and Impact wrestling is having Purrazzo vs Rae at Bound for Glory. That could be good.
