Top 20 Wrestlers of 2020 Updated Table as of eps 68
With the NJPW G1 coming to a close and Ibushi having an under great G1 tournament plus winning, he's making a big push for himself to break into the top 20. DDT is gearing up for Ultimate Party, their biggest show of the year, and Higuchi and Ueno continue to be the top highlights for the promotion. The two of them with their respective teams put in a fantastic MOTYC match worth checking out. On other fronts, Omega and Page are in singles runs, so look for them to make a huge run to finish out the year. BOSJ could be the moment Hiromu crashes up the rankings.
A big lookout is how Dragon Gate is finishing out the year with 3 major shows plus all the buildup.
Mayu Iwantai has been big match consistent and her recent encounter with Takumi Iroha was no exception. She has held the World title all year and it's not without great matches and great opponents along the way. Maya in Ice Ribbon held that position for almost 2 years and with her newest adventures to challenging Risa Sera makes for an interesting points battle her and Mayu will have in these last 2 months.
Women's wrestling has had a sort of down year in 2020, but with strong title holders like Maya and Mayu plus the improvement of Giulia, and the top spots being held up by Yuka and now Yoshiko are no doubt the bright spots with their good matches.
